OMG it was HOT!!!
But we all had a blast! 350 cars at this small city park, the event sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. George Chevrolet was a prominent sponsor and had invited the HHRs even though we weren't "classics". The People's Choice Awards were the regular show awards, a beautiful photo and plaque, and since there were 3 places, and 3 HHRs, we were a shoo-in .The huge and beautiful trophies were sponsored by George Chevrolet and were wonderful prizes (oohs and aahhh!!!) as "special mention" awards.
I'll post a link to the slide show later on for the viewing pleasure of you locals, but here are my highlights of this very hot day:
The trophy says HOT HHR
but we were all HOT today!!!

those that couldn't make, missed out! it was a very good day. for me the weather was great. i guess if todd would have make it, i would not have 3rd place, hehehe. trip home was great. hit home in 3 1/2 hrs. i think the fuse removel helped. can't wait until sept 22!

Glad to see you made it home safely Paul. The show this year was great because of people like you Paul and Cheri. I just want to thank you guys for coming and supporting my local car show. This show was so much better this year because they opened it up to more classes Myles and I had a great time with you guys cant wait till Sept. 22 
you guys are the best. I know alot of car folks and you guys are some of the best.

Fantastic job! You guy's Rock, and it looks like you cleaned up with the awards! I wish I could have come, but my panel is still in the paint shop and I miss it dearly. I can't wait for Sept 22'nd either. The Boyd show will be a warm up too.

Next year, we'll gladly hand you and JT's HHR and UMA the awards, right guys?? ... this year, I'm walking around in circles in my cave, holding it and saying. "My precious.... my preee...cious." and Rick and Paul were THE BEST!! They'd give you the shirts off their backs as long as you gave'm a microfiber towel to wet in that HEAT!!!

You are so funny Cheri, you would have won if we were there anyway. I just wish I could have been there to see you get that trophy!! Congrats to Rick and Paul also. I missed you guys, work sucked..but that is a given. I would have rather sweated it out with you guys....sorry, Todd (Uma)
