Let it snow

It is snowing here in Lancaster!

I'm not sure how much is on the ground at this point, but I'm at work which is 35 miles from my house and 600 ft higher in elevation. At work it started at about 4:30am and has only gotten worse

7 hours and counting

About 6in on the ground now and no snow plows. So I am stuck here

Here is a shot from the local paper of Palmdale. I know the folks back east are used to this white stuff, but here in SoCal it is not the norm at all.

I am ready for snow now! I just had my brand new Blizzaks put on two hours ago! Had a horrible drive home Saturday night in snow over ice conditions. I am ready for it to snow to test my tires!

I believe the snow level in San Diego County is down to around 2500 ft--Palomar Mtn is getting some, as well as Laguna Mtns, Julian, etc... Nothing but steady (& much needed) rain in Oceanside area... Yes--we Californian's get cold when it's under 60 degrees!!

My sis is in the High Desert Hesperia and my neice had 16 inches out by the 15 at about 3 this afternoon and still snowing they closed down the main street to non 4x4 traffic. We hadn't had a snow like that since 1978/79. Wish I was home.

I also heard it is snowing in Yorba Linda.
