I hope this clears things up for anyone having issues registering. If you are still having any issues please call Mike directly at the number below. He is a great guy and looking forward to seeing our cars.

Here is my reply from Mike Phillips at Meguiar's:

The forum is set up so ANYONE can register and then confirm their own account and then instantly post to the forum.

But... they must get the confirmation e-mail and click the link inside of it to confirm their account.

That's where the problem lies. Usually their e-mail software thinks it's spam or junk mail or their Internet provider thinks its spam or junk mail so they don't get the confirmation e-mail.

The good news is I check the pending accounts every day and manually approve accounts.

So if any of your club buddies have registered, even if they haven't received their confirmation e-mail they can still post because I manually approve all accounts that are in the pending queue.

There may be some delay for example if they register while I'm not by a computer but I'm on the computer quite a bit and check the pending queue on Sundays before and after church.

Anyway, I'll do my best to get everyone confirmed and if anyone does have a problem they just need to call me when they're sitting behind their computer.

Mike

OK, is this a micro-fiber towel throw-down to see who has the cleanest HHR?! YOU know you win hands down, Todd!

UMA, even her worst days always looks the best!

I wish I cared. Ive never washed mine, I get it done. I dont have the time, the desire or the skills. 3-4 times a week it gets a bath. Meguiars is just an excuse to go somewhere. I seriously doubt if I will ever wax mine, I suppose I will just be better educated on the process.

Oh Don, you know we are just teasing each other--no competition here.

I like the Meguiars stuff, but prefer using other cleaning materials--and like you, it is a good reason for all of us to do something together and perhaps meet new folks too!

I'm way too picky every time I have take Elliott to get washed I come home and complain about this or that, and the fact that I just paid someone, end up going over it. So if I do it myself I have no one to complain about. I have even used the clay bar on her!

Matt, just follow the link in the first post on how to sign up, etc. Get yourself on and then if you can make it, great, if not...well, I can get your goody-bag for you if you want!
