Ok I am not a pro detailer but i was getting the point he was trying to show us by looking at each car for the swirls and when you look at a car in different lights you see different things and yes even though mine is pretty new I still have some scratches from cleaning. I think his chose of words could have been better horrendous was a little harsh for Matt's car and just OK was not ok for Todd's. Just like the story he told about qriting the copywrite for an atricle and he used the words "put a little elbow grease behind it" he had changed it to say "put passion behind the pad" so that people would not think it was a real chore to clean there car with Meguiars.

He is on a time frame to put on this class so I think he was trying also to stick to his schedule. Should have informed us that he will ask for question after his presentation if that was the case.

Overall I thought it was a good class. Just my 2cents worth.

sounds like it was a very interesting time for all. a few years ago, there was a car show in vegas. mr chemist, from mothers was there. he was the nicest guy. he treated all of us as people that heven if te wanted to buy mothers products. he guy you had worked on $10,000 paint jobs, so what. i would think his job was to show you how good and ease of using mequiars products. did you get any kind of hand outs? after your HHR's are up to his standards, were you told what to use to keep it that way, or do everything over again? sure wish i could have went, later, paul.

OK, I know Marshall was doing an excellent job taking pix at the g2g, and we are such a good looking crew here, so I'm wondering, where are the pix???

Oh yeah, I know it was Mike's camera--wasn't chewing out Marshall here!
I was referring to the fact that he hasn't put up the pix 'over there' yet and someone commented on it!

Too much sugar first thing in the morning and all that sodium for lunch makes SoCal HHR's a surly, caustic, crumudgeon (sp) bunch

Oh wait...that's how we are normally anyhow

@ngelita...fight the power!
