I was in Irvine this morning and it was still HOT. I've been spending more time in Orange County lately than L.A. In the mid 70s I worked in Irvine and haven't been there since then what a huge change!!

I lived in Irvine until 1985 (my dad used to work for the Irvine Co as a farm worker) and it just amazes me how much it has changed here. Ugly, no personality, and uber-strip malls disguised as shopping centers.

It is surreal to be working at the UC Irvine campus now as the land it is built on, I used to play on as a child.

Supposed to cool down here in OC, Charles! But Irvine will still be ugly!

Irvine might not be the place to live, but its a GREAT PLACE to go see the BEST 1/2 mile paved track in the US. And yes its better than Bristol. MOP

I miss Irvine Stationed at the old LTA (MCAS Tustin) and MCAS El Toro, I consider it the place I truly grew up...Even though I was born in the N.Y.C.

Bud, I have lived in So Cal for 40 years and I have no idea what track you are talking about in Irvine. They only track I remember was OCIR (Orange County International Raceway) which has been gone for over 20 years.

That sugar plant on Dyer became a hotel. The hangers are still there at the air station, but so is a Costco and Target now! Lived the first 24 years of my life in Irvine..

I would have liked going to the Castle Museum also, but...gotta draw the line someplace! But Villa Park High would be cool, Tim. I went to Tustin High...

You know Bud, I live off of Bristol!

Where's my room service....

My bad. Its Irwindale not Irvine. Sorry for the mislead. I'll pay double the free ticket price to help make it up. IRWINDALE SPEED WAY OFF THE 605.
Sorry, sorry, sorry. I didn't take my short term memory pills this morning and you see what happens. I am beginning to think the alternitive might be better than getting to old.
See ya down the rode
