There is allso a great pizza place in Monterey called Gianni's I havent been there in quite awhile so i dont remember how much parking is there but its the best pizza in CA and there is plenty of seating inside and the beer is alway cold
its not too far off of Cannery Row if i remember correctly its 2 blocks over and 2 blocks up Just an idea If sombody lives close bye maybe they can check on parking

Date Choice
Okay folks, I am looking at November 8th or 15th which is a Saturday. Meeting at the 152/101 sounds like a plan. I would like to meet there 10am which would give everyone a chance to get there and still convoy to Monterey and get there by lunch time. We can then convoy over to the coast or somewhere that I haven't found yet, maybe Fishermans Wharf, still surfing the web for to do's. Just a nice G2G that fits in a day and still get everyone home before bedtime. Con

This would be a great extension for the convoy... it's close to us so we don't have to drive to Modesto or Stockton to start out.
Hi all...We can meet at the parking lot of Kohl's/Target on the South-East corner of 152 and 101 in Gilroy. (Behind the Shell gas station). There is even a Starbucks in the same complex for those who enjoy that. This location would make for easy access to all coming from the north down 101 (San Jose/Oakland/San Francisco) or from the east across 152 - Pacheco Pass (Los Banos/Central Valley). We could all then cruise together to the Monterey area or .... Lets try to set up a day so all can come and enjoy. I prefer Saturdays (Football on Sundays) but I'm flexible.

It's great to see that you are planning to join in the clubs G2G! You might also pm Connie or other Central Valley members as to Cruise together to the proposed rendezvous location of highways 101 and 152. Hope all is well and can't wait for this to happen!

Ok, here's the info I found on Gianni's Pizza in Monterey (from maps.google.com)... looks like:
6 parking spaces on the street in front of the building
2 Handicap spaces in the lot
36 other spaces in the lot

I talked to Joe and he is going to get some really nice places to tour while we are there. Anyone can stay as long as they like or leave when they are ready. I figure some are going to want to enjoy the area for awhile or go shopping. We can stick together for a few hours and make a nice touring convoy and see if we can turn some heads. I also think I talked someone into buying an HHR today too...if he does, maybe he will become a member too.

Hope you can make it. It's looking more and more like the 8th. A few people have said they cannot do the 15th. Just keep checking here and I will be posting more as it progresses. Convoy's going to happen!
