Rear-Ended!

It had to happen sooner or later. Not a big deal, just a fender bender for me, but you oughta see the Volkswagon Jetta who didn't fit well into my back bumper. Crumpled nose, one part on the road, lotta damage.

I had a few scratches on that bumper; now they'll get painted free - cool!!

Wanna see something funny? You can see the VW logo in the picture, his car was so dusty

Ouch !!! But I must say, you are certainly looking at it on the bright side..

That'll teach that V-Dub to mess with your ride..

Make sure you get it looked at by a body shop, probably some hidden damage behind the bumper like the energy absorbing matrix. Sorry to hear about another HHR wounded in action, but glad you didn't get hit worse Cheri.

I know. I figure a little hit like this defuses the possibility of THE BIG ONE a bit for me. I'm very grateful, and the guy has already reported it and all will be well.

I ran back to look at the Woody decal...now THAT would have been a fight, trying to get the insurance to pay for it even though it came ON the car and shows as an extra on the sticker.

Another Plus!

When the time comes to sell your car, you can charge more for it. You can tell the buyer that it has already been "pre-disastered!" <G>

Must be one of those days. I was on my way to work today and pulled up to a stop sign before heading onto a main street. The car (Toyota Highlander) before me pulls out then decides to try to back up. Needless to say, I was still behind him and he backed into my front bumper. Now needs paint. And to think that my day started so well with Pedders springs showing up on my doorstep

Hi geg. I agree, very strong bumper

Welcome, JON - pre-disastered...hm, maybe, but I'm not selling this girl. Maybe passing it to grand-kids someday...*knock on wood*.

Tracy, if it had really dented or bashed in something, or messed up the woody, I would have been the maddest screaming hen you EVER saw. I think our skins are pot metal!!

Rod Run - sounds like a similar, slow-speed hit. Still really loud, aren't they?? Glad you are okay, and I hope the guy had good insurance. Get a witness?

Bud - thanks buddy, I think it will go well, pretty obvious whose fault. She's not a virgin anyway - several shopping carts ago...
