Roddin' on the River - Laughlin

I know we always do the Cruisin' for a Cure, but this year I think I might want to do this one. I know we have people who have been to this, and I'd like to hear from you about it. Lodging expensive? Is there a place to just go tubing on the river and be lazy?

We have been going for all but the first year and would not miss it. We have taken the HHR since we have had it with good responce. Other cars before that. The rooms at the Riverside are priced good for the show, and it is nice to be right there. This is always my wife's birthday weekend and she looks forward to it each year. There is enough going on besides the show to keep her and I have plenty of time to play cars as well.

That's so funny...the 21st is Dorian's birthday and the 24th is our anniversary. Every year the full day at the fairgrounds (Cruisin' for a Cure) would mess up our little vacation time, but with this, we could BE on vacation.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't do the Cruisin', because everyone can't get away for overnight shindigs. I'm just thinking of options and I love the feedback too. That was helpful THANK YOU!

September is a good month for birthdays (Sept. 3rd here).

Not sure of plans yet this far in advance, so I will watch to see how the thread develops.
