Okay Todd you've probably told everyone before we came along but where did you get the name Uma?

 

I asked him the same thing, Todd's HHR is named after Uma Thurman!

 

Todd, The decals are really no big deal for me. I have no problem passing them out to the group and to use them to promote SoCal HHRs. I am just doing what I can for the group and using the resources that I have at my disposal. Also I am kind of into decals myself so I truly enjoy making them!

Last year I was trying to sell some decals on ebay and I was going over to my chevy dealer and putting them on HHRs on the lot and taking pictures of them. I asked them the first time but, went back several times early in the am to put different ones on. I left them on the cars too. I see them driving around sometimes and I get a kick out of it.

My car is indeed named after the actress Uma Thurman. I do not know if you have heard of her? But here is my reasoning. I bought the car because of the great deal...leather, nice stereo, heated seats, the cool dash, PRICE, etc. etc. I did not however like the looks so much at first. In the first week I lowered it, put wheels on it, changed the grille, muffler, and stereo, tinted the windows, and installed duel ipods. So when Cheri ran me down one day at Angelo's in Anaheim, gawking at her husbands club of Magnums, 300s, and Chargers...she told me to come to this website. I did, and I had to name my car something, which I had never thought about doing before. It was a quick thing I had to do. So, I thought a minute about my car and came up with this... Uma. Why? because she is not exactly beautiful...but something about her makes her HOT!! So there you have it. That is how I feel about Her and my car. Todd (Uma)
