Kind of looking forward to the hands-free phone thing that will be mandatory soon. I hate being around people driving on phones!

I gotta find a hands free device for my blue-tooth enabled phone.

It seems that stimulating stimulus check isn't going to last long in my credit union account!

Glad you are ok, Charles!

Thanks everyone.
The intake is not going to bethe same it will not fit into the wheelwell area. It will be coming straight towards the front. Casey said he wanted to see the exhaust while it was on the lift he asked if I wanted a new exhaust. If there is a difference between the SS and 2.4 it is minor tubing length. The exhaust at the engine is 3" but it is 2.5" towards the rear.
Yeah, he said he hoped the extras helped a little.

Cheri/Mitzkity update

I got a PM from Cheri to pass along to the group:

I have limited access where I am, so it lets me log in (sort of) but I can't search, use the new posts button, etc. So, the only threads I can follow right now are in the Regional South Pacific area...the rest are too hard to find. I feel so isolated, so I'd appreciate it if you could post a weak hello from poor me and hopefully someone will say HI back.

Things are going well, MIL (motherinlaw) has a driver now and is doing okay with all the side effects she has to endure.

Bye for now, Tim.... Cheri

I need a life, I know..:)

OK, can I say, I dislike hearing I have a cheap, low-end car? It was inexpensive, a Chevy, the best I could afford and the only car I considered to replace the S10. Rant over--it's all good.
Maybe I should just get off this infernal machine and read some really boring books!

Better yet, I think I'll take my sparkling Blackie (thanks, Tim!) out to PCH, pop open the sunroof, set the PAL to shuffle and go for a drive...to get gas!

Gotta love living in SoCal!

Happy dad's day to the dad's in our group & the forum!

Angie it doesn't matter what others say or think about our cars as long as you/we do especially when we drive the gas stations. I have a Corvette when it was made close to the highest priced car for Chevy and I love them both

Thanks, Charles! I guess it bothered me as it was a forum member who said it.

I'm over it!

Congratulations to SindyDix who is a grandma!
Cheri, we miss you!

It's not about the amount you spend on the vehicle but the value you get for your purchase. I think our HHRs take us further than any self focused insecure being can ever get with their ego I think I'm saying it's the driver who makes it 'low end' gesh.. jerkz !!

opinions are like culos .. they all stink and everyone has one
Blackie is yours Angie, from what I've seen you enjoy and value your ride a great deal.
