The value that we have gotten outta this little Chevy...is that we all have met a bunch of friends. Friends that we can share with, and depend on. A few of us did not have this before. Got the emblems done today. The back one is not the same one you bought, I had three going and I will give the best. The front turned out ok, but want to try one of my black ones with the red "SS" overlay from Tim, and see if it will take a coat of clear. When I put the overlay on the emblem to paint over it...It looked so sweet, a little better than the one I did. Todd (Uma)

Todd, I'm speechless--great work!
I am *quite* proud to say I have an original TodUMA (tm)!

I'm thinking of taking Don's suggestion and getting another grill and having that one painted pink and perhaps put the other overlay on that one. I like the script on the grill right now, but don't know if I want it to be pink (no overlay)--ack! decisions!

Dang--sounds like the neighbors went down to Tijuana (or down Bolsa Ave!) for their fireworks already--aye! Then again, sounds like this most nights!

Slammin Todd, It will be a sad day when you quit doing this as you mentioned in another thread. I am not a huge fan of stickers either. The look I wanted would not have been achieved had it not been for your painting and the cutout overlay. Since you will be hanging up your paint cans, I guess I will return the funds Ive collected for the air brush set up. All good things must end someday I suppose. It's your call brother. You really have the touch for it.

Tim, YOU RULE!!! Thanks SO much for the goodies! I told the attack-chi's not to bark at you.

So, I took my Director on her first ride in Blackie--she LOVED all the mods and totally knew what the intake was and dug the cool stickers, etc. She especially loved the pink and black theme. And Don, I thought of you when she said, "So, you're getting the front bow-tie painted pink too, right? It has to match..."

My HHR should be done tomorrow afternoon. Then a week from today it goes back to CGS to get the intake and they will have it for a day to do the dynos.
