i have a thing for wagons too (strange at the age of 20 eh? lol), and my fiancee thinks i'm crazy, and she thinks all wagons, with the exception of my HHR, are ugly as sin itself. about a year ago, i almost bought a 2003 Audi A4 Avant. i LOVED it on the test drive, but alas, couldn't get rid of the bike to be able to do it. probably could have still gotten the loan for it, and could have afforded it easily, but i told myself if i couldn't get the bike gone, i would not pursue it any further. now the bike is gone, and i have my own retro wagon! still want that Audi though...i have a thing for Audis...

anyways...back on topic for the Drive-In night...can we get a rough list of the folks i should be getting to meet when i come down? who plans on coming, since we have finally decided what is going on July 19th lol. also, for those that can't make the drive-in, many of us have discussed going to Ciscos for lunch on Sunday, the 20th. lets get a list for that one too. i thought hitting Ciscos sounded like fun, and would be an extra opportunity for you all to meet one of the new guys that won't be making it down that way all that often (unfortunately). if anyone can make both, Saturday and Sunday, cool, i'm sure i'll enjoy every minute, meeting new friends that share my passion for these cool cars, and just hanging out for a while, both watchin a movie, and getting some good food!

yay for me, making page 11 in here haha...this is a rediculously long thread haha!

YoChris, it is a tradition for SoCalHHR's to hijack and take over a thread with non-thread topics!

As far as I know,

Me (Angelita)
Tim
Todd
Kris
Don
Sindy Dix
Cheri & Dorian (maybe)
Kim & Doc
Lou & Liana
Charles
Some of the San Diego crew (Cajun, Grumpee?)
Haven't heard from Elle
You, fiance (your primo?)

At least 10 cars?? Not sure, just going by the thread.

Cisco's is small, but the parking looked decently sized. I'll call to get the hours for Sunday as they do close early. They also have breakfast as well and Chris, it is also close to 405 if you are taking that back up north.

Cajun, and SoCal HHR folks,

This month's tight w/family obligations and whatever is not tight with that I have unpredictable Saturday work schedules.

What say Fearless leader - Tim? Which one is this month (Cisco or drive-in), and when (19th?)?

Someone confirm a time and place, and I'll try to get that day off.

P.S. We sure are all over the place with this thread

grumpee, the plan, at least as i have understood and proposed, is the drive-in on saturday, AND Ciscos on Sunday. that will give me something to do both days i'm down there, and more opportunities for everyone to get together, and for me to meet as many of you as i can. so if you end up working on Saturday and can't make the drive-in, come on over to Ciscos on Sunday! hope that clears it up for anyone ele that may have been confused as well!

oh, and Ang, believe me, i know all about OT hijacking haha! happens all the time on every forum i go to, and i'm actually on a lot of em...67-72chevytrucks.com, thirdgen.org, lompocperformance.com, ccmw.cc, here...yep...

Is there a list for the Drive-in? If so, put us on it.

Given that I dont get my surgery date before then, I'll be at the Drive In and Cisco's for breakfast or lunch whatever is decided. As Angie mentioned, they close early on Sunday 8am-2pm. I live about 4 minutes from there.

Daryl, you will NOT be disappointed and you will only say, why did I wait so long to get this?!

OK, so the plan so far:

Saturday 7.19.08 : Drive-in (no time or meet up time/place set yet).
Sunday 7.20.08: Ciscos in Long Beach for brunch since they close early--time not set yet.

Si?

@ngelita...
(Oh yeah, changed the look of my front grill, *again* )
