Saw the Zohan and WONT see it again. . Han rooster was ok..Panda was cute..10 minutes later I was still hungry . I'd be ok seeing any of the others..

Why does this system block out Han**** I think the "Big Brother" censor is a little over zealous here.

This is gonna get interesting. There are some WILL NOT SEE's here and some ONLY WILL SEEs here. Can someone make a poll? Seeing that this is a dry run, I suppose there is nothing wrong with everyone just seeing whichever movie they want. Kinda screws up the parking together and hanging out but if the movie is that important, see what ya want! The big one in Sept that I will be missing might be the one for group participation.

If someone wants to put up the $10,000 fee for the drive in we could see American Graffiti and Two Lane Black top.

I'm with Don on this.
As mentioned, I'm coming for the company. None of these films appeals to me and I want to meet some new folks and see YoChris's SS. I'll roll with what happens when we get there.

I'd be up for getting there a little earlier so we could check out the new rides. 5.00 is fine for eating, but would like to see the cars too. Might be hard to do this inside and in particular if folks go see what they want...and I think folks around us might get perturbed if we are yapping and looking under hoods and stuff.

I posted the films that will be showing--quote the message and put a "*" next to what you want to see perhaps??

Maybe a more specific head-count too.

Regardless, I'm wanting to try a breakfast burrito at Ciscos and will be there at 11 also...

And so I am wondering, is this the kind of drive-in that broadcasts the soundtrack on the radio?
So, about 30 minutes into the movie, are we all going to be scrambling to get our HHR's to turn the stereo back on?

Or rather, you all are, as I am still stuck on-call. Unless I find a way to pack a laptop and inverter along!
I am sitting in bed last night, and my background process kicked off, and another thought came up. (And it was a bad time to laugh)

If the stereo powers down, you need to turn your key to wake it up, right?
So, then your headlights come on as everyone is watching the movie. Then you are cursing and flipping the switch to turn them off again.

If we all get there around the same time(there is that We again), then conceivably all of our lights would be doing this around the same time. Kinda of like a "light Wave"... LOL

I had guess we had better turn the headlights off manually first!

Matt

Seriously though, I think Hellboy and Dark Knight may be a challenge to see.

It will probably come down to:

Han(rooster)/Zohan [B[/B]
Meet Dave/Get Smart
Wall-E/Kung-Fu Panda (goes with the theme of eating at Panda Express! )

Get there early and line up for:
HellBoy/Wanted
Dark Knight

So should we wait until we meet up and decide? Take an unofficial vote? We are at about 10-12 cars here it looks like.
To be honest, don't care for any of these films, but am going for the company

But I will come out for the new X-Files movie! Damn!

@ngelita

(Don, I can't believe I've been on 4 months longer then you and statistically, you've posted more!)

I just looked at my stats...
I have been on a week longer, but I joined 6 months before I bought Ruby.
I was in Lurking/Research mode then!

I need to comment more...

Besides, Angie is a Teacher, so obviously she picks her words carefully!

Gee, never just sat in my HHR to listen to the radio... Is there an accessory position on the ignition switch ?

Now you're gonna make me read my owner's manual.. .

I'm fine with all but Zohan and Han*&#@
