From what the website says, it seems that Dark Knight wont even be showing until 12.05 am anyhow.

But I'm wondering if this is just for the opening last night/this morning...

Regardless, if the (full) showings at 3.30 this morning are any indication, this will not be a movie you can see unless you get their and line up early.

Any movie is fine with me--they all pretty much look really bad anyhow

If it's going to be too difficult for us to do this, I guess I'll just stay home. I'll see the group at Meguiars on the 9th of August. It will be $75 for gas, movie, food. After the past two weeks I need a night out and guess I could go see it at my local theater for $6 each.

Same here. I don't eat in my car.

It may be best we just meet to eat and then go see what you want. I know this isn't what we want to do, but it seems most folks have seen most of the films already. I certainly don't want to sit in a line in my car for 3 hours--not sure they would let that happen anyhow.

I'm blind as a bat at night and have Ciscos in the morning to go to--so one movie for me more then likely.

This is just a trial-run and it may be too much of a hassle to do again--but we don't know until we try it!

I'm going for the company, check out our cars and maybe catch a movie.

I think it is becoming more complicated then it should be...

Dark Knight is showing at 8:30 tomorrow.

Back on page 20 of this thread, Yonash had some pretty good ideas on how this could all work.

Basically we all come between 5 and 6:30, get food, chat, and someone should scope out the drive-in lines.

Then we meet in the Panda parking lot around 6:15, and then drive in together at 6:30, and he who wishes, splits off, leaves early, whatever.

Now we are coming down to the wire, and we've never got a headcount on who's coming.

So, now's the time - who is still up for this? I am, but if we only have a few, it won't be worth it.

OK, Blackie got hurt this afternoon--sunroof plastic part broke and can't open it now.
(Luckily I was near Selman and they helped me close it!)

But he's braving it out, knows it's just a small boo-boo and no one will comment, so we are still going!

Im going. Im eating at Panda's at 5:30/6 and pretty sure the lines for DarkChingas will be wayyyy too long. All the movies start at 8:30. I dont want to sit in line for hours. Im leaning toward HanChingas or WALL E if the batman dealio doesnt pan out. Stayin for 1 movie.

i'm still in for sure. if Dark Knight doesn't work out, i'm thinking Hellboy/Wanted, as i really want to see Wanted, but if my cousin and his family end up coming with us, we may do Wall-E and Kung-Fu Panda, as he has a young daughter that would really enjoy both, if she hasn't already seen them.

oh, and i plan to arrive at Panda Express around 5:15-5:30
