Woohoo! 111th Big Game is one for the books! My Bears came through and killed the trees! no TV down here, had to listen to KALX online and got play-by-play on chat from one of my girlfriends in the City. Woulda loved to be up on Tightwad Hill for this game.
Still not sure about our turkey-trot...back to my paper.

Smart ass.

I added something about the cruise--not sure if I can make it and now I hear we actually might get rain by the weekend.

Regardless, you all need to check out: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/south-pacific-36/socal-hhrs-holiday-potluck-19591/

Thinking to sit this one out. Thanks for the invite Tim, 40 miles each way is alot for me as Im not a 'driver' like most of you. Add the likelihood of rain and a muddy campground, not for me. Hopefully will see yous all soon and before Cheri/Dorian's/Angie's party. Drive safe and have fun!

Unhappy Still not sure either

I love to go for long drives, but with other obligations (school), I have to pick my g2g's carefully and this one may be one I can not do...may meet you all at DD's for a quick donut and to say hello, but over all, papers, papers, and more papers are needing to be tended to.

I'll be done by the 17th, so certainly looking forward to a g2g at Cheri's!

Hope you all can make the potluck!

Sorry you can't make it Angie and Don.

I did a "pre run" today of the route. It was 45 miles to the end of Silverado canyon from Adams Ave Donuts.

The bad news is, they have reduced the parking to about 6 spots in Silverado and a permit is required to park there. While it is a great cruise through a twisty canyon @ 25mph, we would be better served to proceed on to Irvine Park which has all the amenities for a picnic. The mileage will be about the same (45) if we bypass Silverado all together and just head to Irvine park.

If there is any interest in this cruise raise your thumb.

I am in, don't want rain though! Kris doesn't want to drive, she will be coming with me. Tim, if it is only a few of us, maybe retry at the first of the year. I am in though. Irvine park is a great idea though! Lots of pic opportunities. Todd
