Thanks again to Cheri and Dorian for providing such a warm place to gather. It felt very family like and I had a great time. Plus a wonderful buffet of delicious food. We have had a great year together as a group and to all of you I hope next year holds more of the same for all of us. We are a lucky bunch of folks.

Great pics too.

I am sorry we missed some of our friends this time, but we plan on seeing you on the next adventure.

Now that I'm awake... Thanks for the great party. It was nice getting away for the day and seeing everyone. We decided to go back up Hwy 14 for a change, Traffic on 5 wasn't the greatest but 14 was better traveling than 395, and we stopped in Palmdale to get the rest of our Christmas shopping done. We were a bit tired by the time we got home, but it was worth it for the nice time we had! Hopefully we can plan something up my way around April when the weather is better up here.

Thanks for all that came, I apologize for some of the ribs getting a bit too close to the flame :) Next time brisket goes in a couple hours earlier! Was great to see everyone one-last-time before the new years.

Here is to a great 2009!

OK.

I just, and I mean JUST finished off a piece I managed to fight off Cheri for. Al, that pie was AMAZING! I can not believe it was sugar free--delicious!

In fact, I was in TJ today (I go every Christmas for the Posadas and to attend Mass), and was telling my sister about it as we drove through SD and how I wish I knew where it was you got it at. Worth a side trip!

Thanks SO much again for being so generous and getting it for us. You were sorely missed, as was a silver HHR.

Looking forward to seeing you (with or without a pie!) soon! Have a great Christmas!
