OK. 74+125 it is. That agrees with my 2009 2.0 GM service manual.

DONE! Started right up as if it had never been apart. Sounds good. No check engine light. Back on the road again...

Awesome! Enjoy that new engine feeling ! Check the front cover bolts after 500 miles and the crank pulley bolt, just to be sure!

What is this? I've seen photos of Cobalt SS 2.0s with a hose connected and running to somewhere on the driver's side of the engine compartment. There was nothing connected when I pulled the air box off to do the timing chain job, and I haven't found a photo of an HHR SS 2.0 with the air box removed to compare.
