Yes I understand about the fine print.
I have gmpp major guard gm protection plan
3 year 36k $0 deductible
When my local service writer saw this on the screen he said WOW
This car is rally waranntied up don't see to many of these.
as far as I can see this is the best warranty available from gm?

Everything not excluded is covered

This IS a good plan. Most extended warranties list what IS covered, and everything else is NOT. This lists what is NOT covered, and everything else IS. There are significant exclusions, like the exhaust system.

Non-Covered Parts

Sheet metal
Body parts, panels and rails
Bumpers
Chassis frame
Cross members
Hinges
Trim, moldings, and bright metal
Paint
Rust damage
Convertible and vinyl tops
Weather-strips
Carpet and upholstery
Exhaust system and catalytic converter
Tires
Glass
Lenses
Sealed Beams
Light Bulbs
Batteries
Brake drums
Shock absorbers
Squeaks, rattles, wind noise and odors

Unless required in connection with a covered part we will not pay for: engine tune-up, suspension alignment, wheel balancing, filters, lubricants, engine coolant, drive belts, radiator hoses, heater and vacuum hoses, windshield wiper blades, air conditioning recharging, fluids, spark/glow plugs and wires, brake pads/linings and brake shoes/rotors, manual clutch disc, vehicle manufacturer recommended maintenance services and parts.

Thanks
The service writer at the new dealership that I am dealing with confirmed that it just don't get any better as far as the warranty goes on a used car.
The service writer I am dealing with is a great guy.
I know these hhr's can be finicky but in my opinion they are worth dealing with.

You think these cars have quirks, just talk to a VW collector about what they deal with on a regular basis..... (my buddy Sloan is a GOD in the VW wolrd, and knows more quirks than available options on those cars and vans).....or a pre '80's Harley owner with solid mounts. Junk..

I've had the fix, and on a long sit, the pedal still feels dead on occasion, but makes for great conversation at meets.

I hear ya
I am use to the different. Quirks with the old antique cars I have
Guess that might be what draws me to the hhr's
Hoping they do the vacuum assist on mine.

I am glad the service advisor of the new dealership is treating you well. Would you like me to file a dealership compliment on your behalf?

Michelle will this info get down to the level of the service advisor so he is at least recognized?
Not sure I want to compliment the dealership as a whole just yet till I get my car back today

When I file a dealership compliment, one of my steps is to contact the dealership via telephone about it. I would be happy to wait until you get your HHR back and then go from there.
