Anyone "Seafoam" their LNF?

Read a pretty cool thread over at css.net about seafoaming the LNF engine. The way I see it....it can't hurt. I'm going to go ahead and changed the plugs out as well (going with stock plugs). Anyone else ever done it? (car currently has about 45,000 miles on it)

the lnf gets a lot of carbon build up on the intake side due to the direct injection. it's good to seafoam about every 10k so at 45k its long due. get 2 bottles and keep repeating the process until it doesn't blow out the white smoke...then you know the carbon has been removed. add 1/3 bottle to the oil, and 1/3 to the gas to help get the exhaust side and pistons and change the oil and the plugs 200 miles later

I run Seafoam through the intake before plug changes, but I also put a can in my gas tank every oil change.

Does seafoam in the fuel lower the octane rating?
