Question auto trans oil fill

where is the auto trans oil fill located. is it visable from under the hood or from under the car?

It's a lifetime fill transmission, but they gave us an 11 mm plug to check it !

lifetime - true , under normal service & 50k under severe service - a lot of you guys beat on the car!

A lot of us fall under "Severe Service" just due to where we live, bumper to bumper Charlotte traffic on a 104° day puts me squarely in the Severe Service column.

I'm not sure many folks here "beat" on their HHR's, but due to the Fun Factor built into even the most humble of these Trucklets. They do encourage spirited driving, but not abuse Per Se.

Yes I do Autocross my '07 AKA Paddy, and the maintenance schedule reflects that, but even when stalking the enemy(Mazda MX-5 Miata's especially).

The only concession to its use in competition is halving all the maintenance intervals, using Mobil 1 oil and changing it every 3,000 miles, and removing the magnetic "roundels" from the doors before driving home.
