Cam Cover Quick-Disconnects

Cam Cover Quick-Disconnects
On the back side of the cam cover on the SS there are two quick-disconnects.
One is connected to a 90 degree pipe section attached to the cam cover. This one was easy to get apart with a standard quick-disconnect tool.
The other one has only a tiny gap between the quick-disconnect and the side of the cam cover. Usually you need about 1/2" or so of pipe space to get the tool inserted into the coupling. I had to disconnect it at the other end of the braided hose which is at the turbo. This end is held on with a plate and a screw which are hard to get at. There must be some special tool for quick-disconnects that fits that fits in the tiny gap, or is that connection a one-time deal? i wish I took a picture of the offending connection. Anyone that has removed the cam cover on an SS must have run into this issue?

I need to remove the cam cover on my newly-acquired SS to check the timing chain. I may do what you did to make it easier for the future.
On my other SS I removed it at the other end- a real pain to get it off there.
