Just the '08 Tyler, you might find them useful, but I'm not sure of all or any of the differences between the '08's and '09's.

I hear you Stryder, I'm going through the exact same thing. I shouldn't have used the word "grind", as it's more of a sputter noise on cold starts. Lasts only for one second. The thing is with mine, I'm not getting the "check engine light".

its like a clogged or dirty cat or maybe the Map sensor or the maf or something lol i can't figure it out, the wife has been wanting to trade it in for a while but doesn't want to trade it in with the CEL on. I have thought about using hp tuners to just shut off the Cels and keep them from turning on at all lol but thats kinda messed up i would rather fix it with out paying a dealership 700-900 to tell me they don't know whats wrong

Vacumn, O2, rough start.... I'd look at a head-gasket leak. or a crack in the vac switch under the airbox $.02

Stryker, you might want to look into the fuel pump, regulator and Cat. I've got the same issue and the dealership said fuel pump.

It could very well be, does the engine start normally, then start to stall with the onset of the clattering noise. That's what Tyler's engine was doing, it was a fuel starvation issue, as the engine "lays down" due to the low fuel pressure you get a burst of pre-ignition clatter for about two seconds then it picks up and runs normally. Does this sound like your engine stryder?

I hope he's doing okay Mike? Curious, to see what his problem was.
