Engine Light

My 2010 SS had the Stage 1 Upgrade Kit dealer installed back in 04/11. About five months later and every so often I will get an engine light on usually preceded by a bit of a power surge and the boost gauge displaying "data unavailable" on and off for a couple days. Some times they find something and some times not. The most recent part replacement were the two Bosch MAP sensors that came in the kit. Over a year ago they replaced the air flow sensor. Just wonder if someone out there has any advice or has had similar problems? The most recurring codes are PO101 & PO106, Manifold absolute pressure and Air flow mass sensor. Perhaps next step will be to solder the connections thanks to 843de.

Go to Auto Zone/Advanced Auto to see what the codes are.

Pull the codes and post 'em, also there was an issue with terminals on the Stage 1 kit needing to be soldered on instead of relying on being crimped only.

OK. Are you asking a question or just making a generalized statement?

If it's a question, you need to supply some better info.
ex: I have a 20?? w/2.2 lt. I got these codes...............................

Problem in the circuts for the mass air flow sensor (P0101) and the manifold absolute pressure sensor (P0106). As general as that sounds, that's all that can really be said based on the amount of information you've given.

Thanks and that's what I have found out. I've now edited my first engine light post to include the codes which is what I should have done to begin with. Been fighting this for a while.

You started a new thread and didn't say it was in reference to a previous one? Well, how were the readers here supposed to know that?
I'm a pretty smart guy mechanical wise.
But....I'm not a mind reader.
I like to help folks out with any car problems if I can. It would help if your posts were a little clearer.
And FWIW. You still haven't posted the year, engine etc.
