Has anyone had this issue? Whether driving or idling, when I turn on the AC or push the recirculation button for the ventilation, my '08 HHR SS stalls and dies.
No check engine light, no other issues at this time... Anyone know what causes this?

 

Jack up the right front and take the wheel off, see if you can turn the compressor by hand, I had one where the compressor was locked up and did what you are describing.
