Not sure. I got that from the owners manual. Hope I gave you the correct #. I'll double check.

Well, well. Went out and looked at mine. Slot #50 is empty. Sorry for the bad info I gave. I was just reading out of the owners manual.

Now. Got me thinking. The SS has a module incorporated into the cooling fan assembly. Maybe this module takes place of that "missing" relay. Pretty sure that this module is only on the SS and not the regular HHR.
Maybe someone with a non SS can tell you if they have relay #50.

You may have a fan module problem, but I'm just guessing here.

Let us know what you find.

Just checked my LS as well, there is a relay in #50. This post has me thinking....a buddy at work said his wife had an HHR and he claimed that it had some sort of electrical problem that they never sorted out before she sold it. He claimed that every night the battery would be drained dead. Hmmm....

I've noticed this happening a couple times on my 08 SS as well. The first time I keyed it back on and off and it stopped, the other times it stopped on its own fairly quickly. Never had any battery issues yet though. I'll be following this thread...
