help needed with my continuing limp mode issue

Dealer. Told me they called gm tac
And they are admitting to a lot of issues with turbo upgrade.
Tac seems to insist there is a boost leak
I checked and did not see one.
Also since the fact that my upper tmap has oil on it and if cleaned every two days this limp mode issue does not happen. Wouldn't it make sense to pull pcv off. Is there another way to test pcv.gm tac is saying oil is normal.
Also pin hole was found in air duct from sir box to turbo.
Any help?
I just don't want my car back again that will go into limp mode on highway dealer does not seem to want to look into pcv oil issue because of gm not recommending it.

Maybe that's why there has been talk about PVC catch cans lately? I don't know mine's an LT, no PVC valve, just a straight hose.

But, if there is that much oil vapor floating around, wouldn't that point to other problems?

Unfortunately direct injected motors like the lnf motor have an acceptable amount if oil that enters the intake.
I understand that part but gm tac saying no amount of oil could cause a tmap sensor to cause a problem is rediculous.

LOL - yeah this is getting rather difficult with two threads tracking the problem. Want them merged? It might make things simpler to follow (then again, it might mess it up even worse ).

Yes thanks for checking that it just confirms more that there is an issue

I will leave that up to you.sorry guess I was just going crazy trying to find some help while car is in shop and gm tac tells mechanic no amount of oil on tmap cannot cause my issue.
Very frustrating guess I am nearing the end hear.
I have spent more time trying to diagnose this issue than I probably spend building a race motor.
Thanks for everyone's help here. I guess if the gm engineer doess not call my mechanic tomorrow or I cant find another gm mechanic or svc manager confirm or come up with another idea such as excessive oil could be causing this issue then I guess I am done.I will have to come up with a Powell catch can or something that works and pull intake and check pcv valve
Best line today was gm tac saying remove the crate engine depot plug n play harness adapters and cut into my harness.

I'll hang on - if you want them merged just give a shout. :)

Man, you are going through a lot of carp over this - sure hope you get it resolved.

thanks its been a long battle and my mechanics hands are tied.he has to do what gm tac tells him to do.
Maybe there is a tech on here or maybe chevymgr could give me an idea its just so obvious to me that there is too much oil in the intake
and the fact that if I clean the oil off the upper tmap every two days I have no problem
otherwise every 4- 5 days it goes into limp mode

thanks again for pulling and checking your upper tmap
I am assuming the original install oil would have been pulled away by now and they do get a little oil in there which is fine but Mine has a coating in the intake at times.
did you notice that the hole on your bosch sensor does not quite line up with the hole in the intake which appears to pull the sensor over about .020 when tightening the bolt down?

in case anyone runs into this the other thread is listed below and I think the quote here from the cobalt site says alot as to the possibility of me having a bad pcv valve that gm will not allow my mechanic to change

"I have gone through a very similar situation with my car, same issues and all, turns out they replaced my PVC valve and it all cleared up. Problem was it was stuck open and when the tank pressurized it caused the car to see odd readings. they could never duplicate it, but one time they did after going in and out the dealership for 4 months"
