Hhr ss brake question
I was just wondering if the 2008 hhr ss comes with stock brembo brake calipers in the front? And are the rotors drilled and slotted and bigger than stock? Thanks

Never seen a stock SS with drilled/ slotted rotors and I remember reading the brembo calipers didnt come out till 2009?

Never seen a stock SS with drilled/ slotted rotors and I remember reading the brembo calipers didnt come out till 2009

Close. They were optional on the '08s, and standard on the '09s. Mine does not have them, and the stock rotors are not drilled or slotted.

My SS didn't have the Brembos....so I put a set on this past weekednd!!! The rotors are only about 3/4 of an inch larger all the way around....drilled and slotted would look great!

My '09 doesn't have Brembo's. I thought they were always optional?

Brembo's never were standard on any year.

You sure? Every 09 I've seen came with Brembo
My 08 had brembo and performance driver seat but was auto...and with fact I searched for 7minths even get one... I sucked it up and took auto sadly

Pretty sure. 2010's would have Brembos only if you had the Perf.Pkg. option. It was only available w/ the 5 speed.
I think it was the same option choice with the 09's also. But I could be wrong.
