Hhr ss shifter cable woes....

Hey guys, discovered that shifter sometimes loses the H pattern (5speed) when trying to shift on my 2008 HHR SS.....upon further inspection, one of the cups on the cable end near the tranny does not snap on the ball causing the cable to disengage...Obviously need new cables as they come in a pair but they are unavailable in Canada and the US....I know that the Cobalt SS has a different parts number but does anyone have an idea if they fit or any other other solution you might have

Thanks !!!

It is the same part number I get from gmpartsdirect.net. 15277760.

For the MU3, GM P/N 15939191

Google the part number, seems to be a few places that have it. Hard to say for sure, sometimes they say they have it, but then they're out of stock.

I’ve reached out to everyone on Google with that part number with no luck, either out of stock or discontinued, I’m just about ready to email Gm headquarters !!!! 😘😘😘

Those repair parts look promising.

You could try the salvage yards. This isn't something likely to be damaged on many cars. Offering an idea...

One of our SS owners here recently swapped out his F35 trans for the F23. I wonder if he's got his old cables laying around unused.
Try PM'ing him. And he's in Canada too.
