So I did some multi meter testing and found that the FRP sensor plug had no reading in all 3 holes and then I went to the the main 12 pin plug on the fuel rail and took these reading. My numbers are from top left to right. I'm not sure if that's correct but by my scale 1, 2 and 8 are the FRPS wires(all white/gray) the blank numbers were between 0 and 0.001

And I think you may be right on the ebcm connecter not connected fully because the locking mechanism broke off of the main plug and it looks a little crooked
Ebcm plug
Picture is as level as I could get it to show it doesn't look fully straight
I believe the ECM is different between the 2.2 and 2.0 but yes the old harness is gone. I think I will need to get a connector from the scrapyard and repin the EBCM.
So today I took out the trans because it was leaking fluid and replaced the tob and clutch pipe. I disconnected the entire engine harness and inspected it for any damage coming from the FRP sensor wires and there is none that I can see going back about a foot.
When I get the car all back together I started it up there was no more abs codes(I didn't disconnect the ebcm plug) but the FRP sensor still has no power to all 3 associated wires. All the injectors wires have power but not the FRP ones.
I next located the pins in the ECM harness and tested the pin 38, the 5 volt reference for power and it had almost 5 volts exactly. While I was tracing the wires on the ECM harness I found 3 wires of identical gauge and color that were just loose pins and here's the super strange part... They had power. I'm so confused as the SS ran perfectly fine before I swapped it and now this while in the red panel it's not working and this sensor power is the only problem.
Is this a known thing to just have pins taped up in the harness of the 2.0?
Wire from pin 38 that has power Peach yellow and gray wire from from 12 pin connecter to fuel rail plug Yellow gray and peach wires that were just taped up loose in the loom approximately 2 or 3 inches from the connecter
I pulled some tape off of the right (passenger side) bundle just now. There was a yellow and a brown taped together, but they both continued past the tape, so I don't know what that's about. There was also a green with tape, but I really couldn't tell much more, didn't want to peel back too much and potentially cause a problem.
My 09 might have some differences from your 10. 10 got lots of standard goodies that were optional for 09.
I found out the problem. I had a mystery plug that was the same connector as the FRP sensor. I tested continuity of wires that looked the same and figured there was no way this connector could be for anything else. So I plugged it in and it fired up!
great thread. Glad the OP got it sorted out.........took some patience for sure. I'm new to the forum and I see a few of you guys are from my area. I'm near Cambridge.
Let me know if you guys get together on the weekend for a coffee or a cruise. I've had a 09 Panel LS for years, got it with 144K on it and now has 350K and still going.
I recently found a 09 SS Panel and grabbed it as soon as I saw it. I'm just in the process of sorting it out. Pretty clean truck with 84K on it.
