hhr ss ticking time bomb??

hhr ss ticking time bomb??

seeing too many threads with people motors going boom and they are not even modded.some are slightly modded. are the cobalt guys seeing these problems??? so far,both my ss's are running good,but are they on borrowed time??

No grenade here. only happy times. 10,000+ SS's how many motors, are within "acceptable" percentages to be crap? I'm guessing 3-5% is high, but thats still 300 cars, and there is a known casting issue with the block(coolant getting into the block), but I don't think that occured till '09 production.

is there anyway we can research that? thatmakes me feel a little better if it's true.

Great.....I have an 09 and no income at the moment. My bumper to bumper is a hair from expiring, at least the motor is covered longer.

Most of the time I pretty much drive mine like I stole it and so far no drivetrain problems at all. I'm just out of the basic factory warranty at 37k miles but I bought the extended warranty just in case.
