Yep, if you don't know how, it's in the Owners Manual (although not well illustrated). I also wrote a 'How-to" many years ago. A search may resurrect it.
EDIT....here ya are. It's a little tough at first but with practice you can do it easily.

Never had the problem with our 06 LT but my niece had an 08 LS that had a dead battery. I used this plugged into the OBDII port and the other end plugged into the port on my stand alone jumper. It allowed us to pop the hatch and replace the battery:



its the worst when your battery is dead and u cant get into the trunk
