I need a clutch, any suggestions

Did a search but couldn't find an answer to my question. Put an HP tuner on my 08 SS a while back, with the extra power and with getting stuck in a ditch this winter, it appears I've all most ended the life of my clutch. It's slipping in 4-5 gear, and the emergency brake has to be set if I'm on any incline at all. Only have 20k on the odometer. Going to do the GM stage one and have it tuned again, and that will be it for the mods. Looking for a fairly streetable clutch that will last 100k+, I don't mind spending money, just want one that is going to handle the power, be streetable, durable and also where to buy it from. Any input would be appreciated. I will be ordering one early next week. Thanks guys.

Yup, if you have the "SS" HHR turbo, the exedcy clutch kit/flywheel is the ONLY way to go:

This is the one in which will fit:

http://www.turbotechracing.com/produ...12&idcategory=

You can go with less/cheaper, but you wont be happy in the long run. The ONLY other one we would state would be close is the SPEC Stage 2+ and 3+ setups...

Around here may be tough to do (Columbus, Ohio), was thinking of having the dealership install it, but I need to check around some more.

It took me about a week to get us to it. You have to give the car some gas before you release the clutch otherwise it will chatter. It is a racing clutch so it is a liittle stiff but the thing grabs like crazy. And guys make sure you beak it in properly. Do not slam gears until after 500 miles. Yes that means no NLS for a while lol
