Nah...the 06 problem was a different issue than the 08-10 issue. 06 was a problem with a switch in the shifter assembly which kept the lever from going into Park and not allowing you to turn the vehicle off while the other is actually caused by the ignition switch itself.

 

Had this happen to me in the driveway last month. Had to stall the car to shut it down and disconnect the battery over night cause the lights would not shut off. Took it in the next day and it took the dealer about an hour to fix it.

 

Ok.. I got mine done this past Saturday and didn't pay a dime thanks to this site thank you guys for your help.
