Intermittent overheating
Well, the new module arrived and is in and working. Sure helps to have skinny hands here also. Getting the mounting screw back in took a few tries.
Now we'll see if the problem is gone. With the old module the radiator fan worked till you stopped for a short time and something heat soaked.
Bad news is the module has no screws so taking it apart to see if the problem is fixable will not be as easy as hoped. Ah well, that's why they make mills.

Not the thermostat, it was just replaced, and the DIC shows the temp so I assume the sensor is OK.
Always fine when you start cold for as long as you drive, only doesn't work if you shut it off and then start it again while it's still hot.
