There is a question in post #6 that hasn't been answered.

P0332 circuit low input is the only code now. I'm not familiar with the safety measures of the ecm. But I read the live data and did a few full throttle pulls. I noticed the knock sensor detected detonation and retarded timing. But it only retarded timing back 2 degrees and then advanced back to normal and no knock was detected. It only appears under hard load but quickly it goes back to normal and even makes it back to normal half way through the pull. The car never loses power(yes 2 degrees is a power loss but my moms cobalt I've seen go as far as 13 degrees)

There is a strong possibility of a failed knock sensor, or loose wiring , possibly a ground wire

P0332 means specifically that one or both of the KS #2 wires is shorted or open.(period)
Could be the coil in the sensor is shorted or broken. Knock Sensor #2 is the one above the alternator. The circuit does not work the way you would think.

I thought #1 was near the front of the engine, #2 was near the rear.

Ok I've looked all over. I know where both sensors are location wise but I have no idea which one is which. The one behind the starter I thought was number 1? Which sensor is in which spot? Now I'm confused lol.

Just a pending code, could have been from before you replaced the timing chain. Clear the codes .
