Lowering an SS
Very nice still, I love the ride stock but I have to be lower...great to be here, I have a lowered S2000 so I needed some hauling room with some sportiness.. So what springs were you running before you switched back.. I assumed pedders but it looked lower..sportlines maybe? I'm ready to pull the trigger.. Thanks again for your help..
Alex is right they were pedders, I could not do what I do lower, yesterday I scraped the nose backing into a goofy parking spot and later parked in a spot that my car was balanced on two tires, I could tip it back and forth with one finger, the stock springs did all that with the 255's stuffed in there.
hard to see but the rear tire is 1" off the ground.

i think im going to have to go with pedders, we had a 08 SS auto come into the dealer the other week as a trade in and i was doing the inspection on it and it had eibachs, K&N and IPCW, i didnt like the drop with the eibachs it basically just dropped the front, it didnt look very good, it was a nice drop in the front but it would have been 2412340985723 times nicer if it was an equal drop
Remember that pedders purposely had the rear slightly higher for chassis balance..they found this to be the best stance....so lowering it will change the balance front to rear....but then again if its show and go,only...do what ya will..
Eibach sportlines for the ss
