No confusion. We were just asking what "parts" so we could give you opinions.
Sounds like you have internal failure and those shops have quoted for a total rebuild. If it's a budget issue, maybe check into locating a used MU3 transmission.

But I would like to ask you a question... if you don’t mind...
on your ride I see you have done a GM -Up grade on your turbo ...

It's upgraded TMAP sensors and a tune on the ECM.

Then you get more HP and torque, and premium fuel is required.

When GM came out with the 2.0 turbo line of cars (HHR SS, Cobalt SS, Pontiac Soltice, Sky) the GM performance division developed the turbo upgrade or "Stage One" kit as it was called.
The kit was just two, 3 bar Tmap sensors, wiring connectors and a computer reflash that had to be done at a GM dealer.(it was dealer only when the kit 1st came out. There may be some independents that now have those reflash files.)
It would increase the specs on the HHR SS to 290 hp, 315 torque. Stock was 260 hp, 260 torque.
Back in 2010 or so, the cost was about $700 for the kit and install.

Not even sure if this is even available thru GM anymore. Since the reflash had to come from GM and they shut down the GM performance division several years ago, not even sure if you could get it done by a dealer.

Check with ZZP Performance. They have complete and new F35 trans for $800. Forget getting internal parts. Just get a new trans.
