mu3 transmission removal

does anyone have a write-up or pictures on how to remove a mu3 transmission from a 2008 hhr ss

Very much the same as R&R any of the 5 speed manual transmissions in an HHR!

Yep, the same.

My son and I just removed the 5-speed in his 2008 HHR SS to replace the clutch.

I've also removed 5-speeds and automatics from various other HHR non-SS models.

He even R&R’d the slush box out of Oldblue!
