Welcome to the forum, I would defiantly get the stg-1 back, I would guess the problem was rubbing on the lower sensor, once my dealer made a bracket to hold it back I have had no problem. Others have come up with different brackets, but the auto don't have much room in there.

Wow, thanks for the link... nice to know that GM has a configuration database and it does list part number, cvn and desc "calibration for use with Stage I and 2 kits". However, it still doesn't perform like it did when I first got it and I can't seem to get hp or torque indications beyond 260... where previously these figures were easily exceeded.

They did replace the did replace the mass flow sensor, initially, but can't see why that would cause this...

The good news is that it no longer hangs at 5 psi....

Thanks, I will check that next... what problems did you find when you had the chaffing? Limited performance?

When my car had intermittent boost problems it was a vacuum pump that wouldn't properly hold vacuum. No check engine light...
