I'm thinking you have a manual transmission, so that would be the ECM. Here is a picture of mine.

What do you think a dealer could do? The chances that a tech has ever heard of an HHR SS are slim.

We have a chevrolet performance shop here where I live that does all sorts of cars.. But its just to maybe run injector test and or maybe give me a insight to something else that hasn't come up yet. Do I need anything special to do my direct injection injectors? I have read and been told that they might need programmed and or special tools to remove them since direct injection.. I have no real way of testing the injectors besides pulling fuses and seeing if it starts. I think after tonight I will possibly do a tune and see if that works if nothing comes from tonight. I'm not giving up yet.

I think you need a special tool to pull the injectors.

This has gone on for way to long; what complaint are we worrying now?

P2178 code...

PM me and I'll get you access to the GM Service Manual. The way GM structures their digital service manuals, it makes it very difficult to save as pdf and post. But, it's probably one of the most thorough, detailed service manuals I've used.
