Just got it done

I went into my dealership to have a broken key fob replaced and while they had my vehicle, they also went replaced this bracket. I didn't even know there was a recall until after he handed me the keys and told me what they had fixed. No complaints here, it's always nice to have them fix something you didn't know was broken... For Free!

ChevyMgr--is Chevy going to send out a recall notice at some point (do you think)?

Thanks,

Talking I went to the dealer to get my oil changed.

I also had them re-clock the drivers side windshield wiper arm as it was hitting the hood whenever I pulled it back to clean the glass. While they were changing the oil they told me about the recall on my car. They had to order the parts. While on the way home I scrolled through the DIC and noticed that they forgot to reset my oil life monitor. And yes, it is easy, just hold the INFO & RESET buttons for a couple seconds until the display changes and after the language selection the first choice is to reset the oil life. The engine needs to be shut-off to work though.

Thank you, but does that mean I should have received notification by mail? Since I did not, who should I contact to make sure I'm notified of any other recalls?

Thanks again,

Billy-Bob

Give me the last 8 of your VIN and I can tell you if you are involved in the recall. Did you buy it used?

Your's is involved. You can call 800-222-1020 and make sure they have the correct home address information. Have your full VIN ready when you call.
