Well, my run of incredibly bad luck continues unabated. I ordered a LuK clutch kit from a local parts shop on Tuesday. It was coming from a warehouse ~400 Km or so away and they were supposed to receive it at the end of the next day. The car would then be worked on Thursday and I would get home Friday morning. Well, the kit didn't arrive on Wednesday so it was expected Thursday. That meant the car would get fixed Friday and I could get home Saturday morning. Not ideal but acceptable.

Well, the incompetent and negligent twacks at Loomis Express couldn't get it together enough to complete one easy shipment across half a province and the LOST the friggin' shipment. LOST IT! Lost as in they don't know where the @#$*&^! it is, can't find it and don't know what the @#$*&^! they did with it. Morons! Their records show it as delivered but it was not delivered to the place or the company it was supposed to be delivered to so it would seem that Loomis delivered it to the wrong place/company but they don't have a clue who or where because they're idiots. Now, I'm stuck in this province for a few more days.

The auto parts company who ordered the part for me ordered another one yesterday and is "supposed to" get it today (I take that with a grain of salt). That is, of course, assuming the courier company doesn't lose it and that the warehouse doesn't screw up and send the wrong clutch kit which could still happen. If the part does come today, the car will get fixed Monday and I will get home Tuesday. Four days lost because of Loomis.

There is only one car rental place in the nearest town and they have no cars available. I'm first on the list if one suddenly comes up but the way things are going, I highly doubt a suitable one will come up in time to get me home before the weekend is over. If I can get one, I will try to make Loomis pay the rental bill by suing them for damages if necessary. Wish me luck with that.

Can't. The car is in town at the stealership where the parts are finally now as well. Car will be fixed and I will have it on Monday. Four hundred mile trip home Tuesday morning.
