RPD Cam Advance display

Hey everyone, my RPD display for the intake and exhaust cam advance stopped working and I had found some information about where and what sensors needed to be replaced. Today as I started to actually work on the car, its taking over as my daily driver, I was unable to find the information I had found previously. Anybody have links that would send me to the right direction? Thanks.

If a sensor broke it cause a code, is the checkenginelight on?
The computer uses several inputs to calculate thing like that. Like the VVT valves, the cam position sensors, the knock sensor, the crankshaft sensor etc.

I’m thinking you could simply try a good old battery lobotomy, if you have the codes written down. That will reset the computers and might get the RPD back working.

(Deleted my response because I'm tired of wasting my time on people who ask questions and don't come back)
