I think the cig lighter fuse #29 under hood is the correct one.

What’s on your dashboard? A cubby like the LS/LT models?
I’ve only seen the RPD on the SS dash .

Yes, a cubby. It was an option in '09, standard in '10. So '08s didn't get it, some(probably most) '09s(like mine) didn't get it.

I have an 09' SS Panel with the RPD. Dumb me wanted to put an Apillar Boost guage on and i hard wired a boost guage from a Cobalt in and i was a dumbass and idinr tapenup the wires ans i shorted out one of the 4 wires that was used the dimmer and blew the dimmer fuse that controls tail lights, dash dimming, and radio lights but the radio lights being out is just becuz its a warning that there is a problem with the tail lights or a running light bilb and allcof them were out.. i fixed the one of the fuses thats under the hood that was for tail lights i believe and all the lights worked as they should but my RPD doesnt work and neither does my DIC...thats why i said i think i buggered something up..... I know.. the moral is tape up wires even if you just wanted to aee something work for a second.. i dont even have the Apillar trim... I just wanted to a ee ifnit worked....like a little kid.

Uh Oh. So you were wiring up a boost gauge and shorted something.
Guess it's too late to tell you that the SS is pre-wired for the A pillar boost gauge. The wire plug is behind the blank pillar trim on the RPD equipped models.
All you needed was the A pillar trim piece w/booster gauge. It would be plug in and work in tandem with the RPD.

And FYI. There is a boost gauge on the RPD.
