Squeaky front struts
I am in ohio and this is my first winter with the SS
I too have the squeaking sound, just got under it over the weekend when I changed the oil and checked things, all looks good BUT I know it has to be the oem bushings on the sway bar. it was warmer this weekend and it was gone! I would not worry about it too much.
One thing I will say, the SS really does not handle too bad in the snow! I came from Subaru's and felt invincible in those in the snow, was a little leary of the SS at first. As long as you stay out of it, which we all know is hard to do, it handles really well.

The bushings are urethane and will squeak when it is cold. Nothing to worry about as it will go away when it warms up. Urethane is much harder and performs better for handling but it will make noise in the cold and in damp weather.
Mine are quiet in the AM since my car sits in a heated garage but at night on the way home from work I get a screech when I hit a large dip or bump.
It is nothing to worry about.

there is a TSB from GM ( technical service bullitin) for squeaks when cold. per GM, the fix is to replace the front sway bar bushings. i'm in chicago, & it's been a hell of a winter - my car squeaks front & rear over bumps, but it's been well below average temp ALL WINTER. I'LL get aftermarket bushings in the spring & make sure to grease the inside before installation.
