You did see them, but I advised to not advertise them as problem solvers as they did not actually have the problem solver bushings.

It’s still in your brain inside your skull, at least that is what Sweetie tells me!

Removal of the riveted ball joint looks like only a minor pain, but now I worry that boltIng on the new one in a way that it will stay put is less certain than rivets. Maybe that’s why GM never made the SS ball joint available loose.

The bolts that Moog provided are pretty close in relation to the holes the rivets were in, you torque them to just 50 ft lbs , so more of a shear pressure then stretch

If you're really worried, clean the mating surfaces with a clean solvent and use a bit of epoxy to keep them from ever moving, jut remember you'll need a bit of heat when you want to take it apart.

I'm taking those shank diameters on faith. Anyone ever measured both?

My math is correct. Think it will work, though?
That’s from comment #4.

My math is correct but my typing, not so much. Should be 20.5 not 20.1.

(20.5 - 19.96) / 25.4 / 2 = 0.0106

I am going to ask for 6 pieces to see where and how much they would cost.

let me guess. You asked for six pieces and never heard from Jimmy Ji again?
