Stumbling at acceleration
Stumbling at acceleration
Started about 2 weeeks ago. Seems worse in the morning. Stumbles at acceleration and a little at stop lights. If I put the pedal to metal it doesn't seem to occur. I tried a bottle of techron in the tank last week. '09 SS auto with 121,000 miles. Spark plugs changed about 10,000 miles ago. Thanks for any input
Unless you're losing a lot of boost pressure, it's probably not a turbo leak.
I would check the things Oldblue mentioned. Check for codes. Since you haven't ever cleaned the TB or the MAF sensor, go ahead and do those. Just be sure to use the correct cleaner and procedures. (I.E. Don't move the TB manually)

Throttle body is a pain on the SS.
The charge pipe has been almost welded to the throttle body every time I worked on it.
Best way I found was this:
1. Disconnect the electrical connectors at the throttle body and lower MAP sensor.
2. Remove splash guard for access to clamp on charge pipe to intercooler.
3. Remove clamp and charge pipe from intercooler.
4. Remove 4 bolts that attach throttle body to intake manifold.
5. Remove throttle body/charge pipe assembly from vehicle.
6. Separate charge pipe from throttle body.
After cleaning, reassemble in reverse order.
