Called GM and the dealer...They covered all but $100 of the repair. Saved me about $300. Thanks GM for the assistance.

Three cheers for GM, so we have a bypass and a blow off valve ? I thought all we have is the bypass, that the forge replaces ? I am about to order one in hopes it will help straighten out my variable boost condition, never know what I'm going to get, sometimes 10, sometimes 25. How about an experts advice here ??

*correction*

As I understand it the bypass valve and the BOV are the same thing different name on a turbo vehicle. The wastegate is the device that regulates boost at the turbo. The bypass/BOV regulate overpressure in the charge piping when the throttle body "slams" shut after lifting off of the throttle especially at WOT. That's where the cool pfft! noise comes from. Also the stock bypass/BOV on our cars does not vent to atmosphere it is recirculated into the exhaust stream.
