weird CEL during liftless shift!

Just 10 minutes ago I decided to put this annoying civic with a fart can in its place after 20 minutes of him buzzing all around my car. I drive a bone stock SS and I was in competitive mode and I was performing liftless shifting as always. Switching from third to fourth the CEL started flashing. I nervously let off the throttle and switched into fith and slowed down (giving the ricer the most glorious moment of its life). The CEL flashed for about 30 seconds and disappeared. Anyone know what that was and if I should be concerned at all?!

Misfire. Im not sure what would cause it though. Maybe change your plugs...how many miles do you have?

I have 89k. I've only had the car a month so who knows when the last tune up was, but I've been putting it off because I plan on putting it away before the snow hits and modding and tuning it then. But when and if I ever see that again its always because of a misfire?

Yup means misfire, I would change the plugs cause I doubt they have been changed.

If the misfire is bad enough it can do damage to the catalytic converter due to raw fuel is getting into the exhaust..
