Where to order a replacement shift cable assembly?

Hello fellow HHR lovers,

I am aware of the many posts about HHR SS shift cables in this forum and I did do some searching to come up with the part number I need to replace my broken cable. My question is, where is the best place to buy said cable? A quick google search of the part number (15939191) leads me to several pages claiming to be GM Genuine parts sellers and each one has a different price but the sites all look the same. I called my local dealer and they said they can get me one for $180 but its going to take about 10 days and I don't have that kind of time as this car is my daily. Some of these other sites have it for as low as $105 (but with $50 shipping) but they all say that the parts availability isn't guaranteed which has me kinda worried. I found some shift cables from ZZP but those just say "for LNF or LSJ" and when I look up the part number they have, it says its for the Cobalt. Not sure if those are interchangeable on the HHR SS. Any help or input would be great. Really stressing about getting my car back on the road. The up/down cable broke and the car is stuck in 2nd gear and the shifter just flops up and down and wont move side to side.

Thanks!

Thank you, I will contact them. I've seen them mentioned several times so I am guessing they are reputable? Thanks for the quick reply.

The GM sites might all be ordering from the same source. Give CED a call, see how quickly they can get the cables to you. Their site says in stock, let's hope that means in their stock, not just in GM stock.
